About/Contact

I am a writer and sculptor in Aloha, Oregon, where I live with three dogs that insist filling pickle pockets with Redbarn treats takes precedence over scratching paper with sticks.

  3. Great writing; not everyone can write a funny story, or stories! Excuse me for being informal, but your stuff is fun to read and I plan on reading more of it. For what it’s worth, I signed up to get more. THANKS !

  4. In between holding the door open for an aging Catahoula and a middle-aged Beagle, both with peanut-sized bladders, I wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for The Liebster Blog Award. It’s a great way to give recognition to the bloggers you enjoy as well as discover new ones. There are some logistics involved, so if you choose not to participate I understand completely. I hope that you will, however. It’s kind of like getting a good skritch behind the ears. Here’s the short link: http://wp.me/p1XDRR-aD

  5. I adore your writing! Your dogs are beautiful. I’ve been trying to work with my little guys—the Ratties! Bark-fests happen daily when we take walks and come upon other dogs. The little guys say, “We aren’t so crazy about the funny twirly things at the end of those twigs that come out of mommy’s shoulders when they are hitting those things in front of that screen that she always sits in front of and makes clicking sounds”. Oops that was Livvie the Rattie talking. Actually we have changed the name of Rat Terriers to Terriers Moineau (Sparrow in French, I hope).)

  10. Looks like you have a winning team! I love to watch my dogs interacting and communicating. It is fascinating to distinguish dog traits, breed traits and personality. My Dandies also love to practice the gentle art of face fencing and ear massage and the puppy favourite, skin nibbling! Lots of inspiration. Many thanks for the visit.
